Do you know the vegetable meatballs from IKEA? With their help and some handy ingredients in the herbivore's pantry, we recreated the meatballs with tomato and garlic sauce that we ate as children!

The texture and taste of these meatballs is very similar to that of poultry meatballs, only now no creatures have been sacrificed.

I am aware that these meatballs are only accessible to those who have IKEA in the city (only in Bucharest in the case of Romania), but don't worry! There is another very similar alternative! These are vegetable meatballs, also in frozen form, from Naturli, a producer that distributes products in large supermarkets across the country.

We served them with couscous, which is prepared extremely quickly and easily (one part couscous, one part hot water + spices), but they can be eaten as such only with sauce, or even better, with a puree of potatoes and pickles!

Garlic is a wonderful plant with many uses. To help the house plants overwinter more easily and become stronger, we tried to use garlic water. I performed the experiment on 2 Spathiphyllum plants: on one I watered it and sprinkled it with garlic water, and on the other I irrigated it with ordinary water and I only sprinkled it with garlic water. Let's see together how garlic water helps fight diseases, pests (it is very effective against blackheads) and increase plant immunity!

1. Peel the garlic and finely chop it with a knife.

2. Add the crushed garlic and its peels in a liter of cold water. Stir.

5. Wet and sprinkle the leaves of the plants with garlic water.

We watered it and sprinkled it with garlic water on the one on the left, which is alone in the pot, without a mattress (Soleirolia soleirolii). The other plant was just sprayed with that solution. As a result, the plant watered with garlic water became healthier, its leaves stopped yellowing and all the black mosquitoes around it disappeared. That's why we started treating all the houseplants with this solution and we have to tell you that the orchids reacted more spectacularly than the others.
